Pentagon Memorial

This is the park design of the memorial for the September 11 tragedy. It is located near the Pentagon which has been demolished years ago. In architectural aspect, I will call this design as an interesting one. It is because it has it's own attraction. There are something that attracting me to this design which are:

1. How the designer use repetition. The designer just arranged the seats gradually but but when the scenery is viewed from a perspective, the arrangement looks perfect.
2. What I understand about the metaphor is the reborn of the soil after being demolished. The seats look like the awaking of the soil.
3. The seats are designed in a creative way and not just another cliche style of seats.
